ล่าสุด Guinness Book of World Records 2012 Gamer Edition ได้ทำการเก็บสถิติแฟนเกมจำนวน 13,519 คนที่เข้าร่วมโหวตฉากจบวิดีโอเกมที่ตนชื่นชอบที่สุดตลอดกาล โดยผลสรุปออกมากลับเป็นเกมแนวยิงมุมมองบุคคลที่หนึ่งชื่อดัง Call of Duty: Black Ops ขึ้นครองตำแหน่งอันดับหนึ่ง ตามด้วยอันดับสอง Halo: Reach และ The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time ตามมาเป็นอันดับสาม ส่วนเกมแอ็คชั่นสายลับจารชน Metal Gear Solid 4 ติดโผอยู่ที่อันดับ 8 และรั้งท้ายด้วย Resident Evil 4
